Terms of use
Last updated: 11 October 2026
In short
- SIXFINGERS is free. One generation every 60 minutes, up to 6 stored.
- You are responsible for the prompts you write.
- We claim no ownership of the images you make. Use them within the law and the model licences.
- Some things are off limits: illegal content, harming minors, harassment, deceptive deepfakes.
- The site itself (code, design, artwork, sounds, font, logo) is © Tristan Ulrich, all rights reserved.
What SIXFINGERS is
A free website made by Tristan Ulrich, a private individual living in France. You type a prompt, choose one of seven machines, and get six images made by AI. The images are made by the AI Horde, a network of volunteer graphics cards. See How the images are made.
By using the site you accept these terms. If you do not, please do not use it.
The quota
You get one free generation every 60 minutes, and they can pile up to 6. The images are made by volunteers who lend their machines for free. The quota keeps that shared network fair for everyone.
Please do not try to get around it, for example with scripts or many accounts.
Accounts
Accounts are optional. If you create one, keep access to your email address safe, since the sign-in link goes there. If you are under 15, you need a parent's agreement first.
We may suspend or delete an account that breaks these terms. You can delete yours at any time (see Delete your data).
Your prompts
You are responsible for what you write. Your prompt is sent to the AI Horde and seen by volunteers around the world, so do not put personal information in it, yours or anyone else's.
The images you make
Each image is made by an AI model from your prompt. SIXFINGERS labels them as AI-generated.
Whether anyone holds copyright in a purely AI-generated image is uncertain, and the answer differs between countries. What we can say clearly:
- SIXFINGERS claims no ownership of the images you generate.
- You may use them as you wish, within the law and within the licence of the models.
The seven machines are based on Stable Diffusion 1.5 (CreativeML Open RAIL-M licence) and 2.1 (CreativeML Open RAIL++-M licence). Those licences come with use restrictions, which apply to you when you use the images.
What is not allowed
Do not use SIXFINGERS, or the images it makes, to:
- make or share anything illegal;
- exploit or harm minors in any way;
- make sexual content, or try to get around the filters;
- harass, threaten, bully or defame anyone;
- make deceptive deepfakes, or pass off an AI image as a real photograph to mislead people;
- impersonate a real person;
- spread hateful content or discriminate against people;
- break someone else's rights, such as copyright, trademarks or privacy;
- overload or attack the site or the AI Horde, or get around the quota.
The site and the Horde both run filters. They are not perfect. Images may sometimes surprise you. If you see something that should not be there, write to tristanulrichlobey@gmail.com.
What belongs to the site
The code, design, scene artwork, sounds, pixel font and logo of SIXFINGERS are © Tristan Ulrich. All rights reserved. Nothing here is under a free licence. You may not copy, reuse or redistribute them without written permission.
No guarantee
SIXFINGERS is a free personal project that depends on volunteers. It may be slow, down, or change without notice. Generations can fail. We do our best, but we cannot promise the site will always work or that every image will be what you hoped. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have by law as a consumer.
Money
There are no ads, no paid features and nothing to buy. You can give a voluntary donation if you want; it unlocks nothing. See Donations and refunds.
Changes and law
These terms may change. The date at the top will show when. They are governed by French law. If there is a problem, write to tristanulrichlobey@gmail.com first; most things can be sorted out that way.
